The last few days in Texas have been beautiful! I am a summer girl myself! I am dying to get into my pool! Are you like me and love to lay by the poolside?
Anyway, I must move on........
The inspiration for this table were gifts! Rosie was cleaning out Chrissey's mom's house. She asked me if I want the few teacups & dishes she found. Of course, a dishaholic never says NO! LOL
I used only the dinner dishes. I'll save the teacups for another post.
So I got started and created this lovely table for you!
I started out with a blue green charger. The dinner dish is by Pope Gosser "Rose point".
Here is see my favorite, (they're all my favorite) Knowles china. I forgot the pattern.
Also thrifted.
The bowl is Sorbet. I have four of these and bought them while out thrifting awhile back.
Each placesetting had a different colored napkin.
I used my fold flatware.
The glasses are from Tueday morning.
The rose are napkin holders used for color.
One of my favorite places in Spring.
I had the place settings on each side of the table but then switched to having them across from one another. I like it much better. Tried to download a picture but my computer is being temperamental!
Have a great week!
Thanks for stopping by.............
A prayer of Blessings for you my friends.
May the Lord bless you and protect you
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you
May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.

Elaine, your table and dishes and floral centerpiece is absolutely lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's still very cold and snowy here, as is most of the north eastern part of the states currently!
I long for spring, but I do love winter a lot. I don't want to wish my days away, and find each one is truly a blessing.
Thank you for your faith and prayers. God bless you and yours.
The rose china is exquisite, I love the sculpted trims around the edges of the china, so elegant and beautiful. The bright red cherries of the Sorbet bowls look so cheerful and the color of the cherries pops against the creamy white of the plates and the green of the chargers, Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis tablescape is so pretty. I am sure you had a lot of fun doing it. Love the plate stacks and napkins. It says Enjoy! Valerie (candlelightsupper2.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting...love those feminine plates. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI would be thrilled to sit at any one of your creative place settings, Elaine! How pretty! I love it when the table is set with varied place settings that complement each other. You've done a wonderful job! And hooray for you getting more china! You're so right...a dishaholic never says no!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Valentine's Day weekend!!
