Friday, February 13th!!!

Most people dread Friday the 13th but I never do.
I am not superstitious at all.
Plus, we were not suppose to buy anything for each other for Valentine's Day.
So,  I did not expect Mr. Sweetladyelaine to come home after his workout with lovely red roses.
Of course being who I am, I had to redo my buffet in the kitchen
and set a table!
Did I say bake too!
I decided to use my mercury turquoise vase and everything just took off from there.
Take a look!!!!!!

I just had to make a chocolate chip cookie in the shape of a heart.
I was going to pipe some chocolate frosting around the edge but decided we didn't need the extra sweetness (calories). Mr. Sweetladyelaine deserved my heart after the beautiful roses!

Once that was all finished I began on the table............
I set two different place settings because I couldn't decide which one I liked best.
The difference is the white salad bowl and the placement of the napkin.

Glasses bought at Tuesday Morning a few years back.

The dishes have their maker's name etched off, so I can't tell you anything about them.
Not sure why they did that, but I bought them at a thrift store in Illinois.

Centerpiece is a simple turquoise hurricane with a candle and beads set on a filigree mirror.
I bought the hurricane in Kirkland's last summer for outside.

A final look at the whole table.

Thank you for stopping by! I love when you visit and leave a comment. I do try to get around to as many tablescapes and blogs as I can. I need my weekly dose of  your blogs. They keep me alive and always thinking! Thank you for your inspirations.

Have a great week until my next post!

 Blessings My Friend,
 I will sing of the Lord's great love forever;

  1. Elaine! How lovely! Can't beat that vase color! Your tables are always beautiful- but can't hold a candle to your cooking skills!
