Earth Day.....

I think I missed it! I am so busy lately that things are just passing me by....

Earth Day was the inspiration for this table.......I was suppose to join a few parties.
I would have loved to set the table outside but we still have to put it together. lol

I used to different salad plates; a yellow one and a green one. The placemats are from Wally World! My favorite store.

I love this little crock I bought at the Dollar Store in Texas. I use it often for soups, stews, desserts and even ice cream! The color is just perfect for any season.

The dinner plate came from Old Time Pottery for 39 cents. A real bargain for me! I love bargains because I can't afford to be a dishaholic if it wasn't on sale!

I love this geen plate with the yellow pattern below.......You have seen it many times.

My fishing duck that my husband gave me years ago when we were first married. She is too cute!

I love this picture frame......I never put a picture in it because I love what is says.

My blue bird follows me everywhere!

You can never go wrong with greenery for a centerpiece.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment! I look forward to hearing from you.

Blessings My Friends,

  1. You've certainly captured Earth Day in your lovely tablescape! What an amazing bargain-hunter you are! Love that little bench/picture frame - absolutely adorable.

  2. Beautiful! I wish I had stores like the ones you mentioned here. I love your blue bird and the birdie plate. xo

  3. Hi there, sweet Elaine! I hope you have had a good week, although it sounds like you have been super, super busy! That's kind of a good thing, though, isn't it? You probably won't get the chance to set up that outdoor furniture this weekend, either, because rain is moving into our area from the South and headed in a northeasterly direction which means it will be moving your way soon. The wind has really picked up! You're cool...Earth Day isn't until Tuesday, the 24th, I think. Great job of mixing and matching, and I really do like your fishing duck! Funny how the little things can be the most treasured! I hope you have a happy weekend and get a chance to rest up a bit. Take care!

  4. Oh my gosh, I used to have that same little duck...a co-worker gave it to me for my birthday many years ago, it sat on top of my monitor when I had a pc! It finally fell off and her bill broke.

You have a nice selection of gorgeous the gold ones.

    Have a great weekend!

  5. What a sweet table! You are so lucky to have stores like that around and what a bargain that plate was! Such pretty pieces but I think that crock is my favorite.

  6. Isn't it funny how little things like the fishing duck become so important to us? And your bluebird and little white birds are perfect for Earth Day. Linda

  7. I couldn't afford to be a disaholic unless I hunted the bargains,. But to me, that's the fun of it, anyone can pay retail! :)
I love those little crocks too! Perfect for so many things, and your bargain dishes are great too. Wish we had an Old TP here!
Thanks for linking to Let's Dish! Every Wed at 7 we hold our dishy meeting! :)

  8. You didn't miss it! Your table is lovely with all the birdies.
