Violets on my Mind

Last month my husband and I went looking for a shed for our backyard. While he was looking, I found a patch of violets. I picked a bunch and brought them home. They are such a delicate flower.  Since then, I have been thinking violets. I don't have much purple but I managed to do a nice teascape. I never thought to use violet/purple table linens before I started doing Tablescapes! I guess I'm growing..........

This is my little spot by the windows........where I "rest". The napkin is a handkerchief that I have collected over the years. The luncheon plate and cup are a set . On the back it says "Registered USA , Celebrate, Made in Japan" within a life preserver symbol. The other saucer is Aynsley.

Last weekend I found this adorable dessert compote at a garage sale. I just think its so pretty with the green and violet. I have four that will be sold in my shop.

The seashells are just part of my decorations for summer. I picked them up whenever I go to the beach. I have a ton of them. I have them all over the house!

This is the whole picture of what I see when sitting in my chair.
I hope you have enjoyed my simple teascape. I would love for you to come for tea one afternoon. Soooooo.....if you are ever in Belleville, IL get in touch with me! I would love to meet you!

Thank you for stopping by. Please leave a message, I'd love to hear from you!

I am joining Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

Blessings My Friend,

"When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
In God I trust; I will not be afraid.
What can mortal man do to me"?  Psalm 56:4
