What happens when a dishaholic plays with jewelry?

A new necklace & earrings are born!

But wait....I tried to make napkin rings too!
I call  them inspiration!
I'm not super happy with them, I wanted them to be a little more fancy.
But I will keep trying!

This tablescape is exciting for me today. I was given some dishes and I love them. Funny how things work out. I bought the pink, Premiere, "April Rose" china at The Thrift Store. While I was there I saw salad plates and big bowls that were green. Not this green a little more limey.  I couldn't decide and I couldn't buy both. So I decided to buy none of them. Remember we are on a tight budget!

When I came home, Rosie, my friend called to say she had dishes for me! These cute little Wood & Sons dessert plates! I consider that a God moment!A shout goes out to Rosie for the dishes she has been finding for me!

I love my teacups so I added them to the plates!

The chargers are metal and I found them at "Something Special".
A  store that supports battered women!
I feel like I am giving back and recycling at the same time.

The tablecloth is also a Thrift Store purchase.

My glasses are also a thrift find. They are not vintage......

My daughter gave me this teapot for Mother's Day one year.
The little plate I bought at The Thrift Store.
I had planned to hang it on on my dining room wall but you see how well that worked out! lol

Finally my centerpiece. Rum Rill is the maker of the vase.
All is time I thought my mom had made it! I never looked on the bottom until now! LOL
I am shocked!

A view of the whole table!

I enjoyed setting this table! Thank you for stopping by......

  1. Your hand made napkin rings are lovely as is this delightful Spring tablescape. I love the rose plates paired with the green floral transferware, they make such a pretty picture together with the eclectic mix of delicate teacups and saucers. Very pretty indeed!

  4. Your spring table came out beautifully. The napkin rings are so pretty, Elaine. I haven't come across any of Woods & Sons china patterns that wasn't pretty.
    Have a great weekend.
