You Are Invited For Tea......It's Tablescape Thursday!

Thank you for coming.....I have been missing you! I have been so busy that I have not had the chance to visit all of you. I hope you can forgive me.
Sooooo...I thought it would be nice to sit and have tea together.

I am so excited that you came.....

I put out two different placesettings.....you can choose where you would like to sit!

This one looks a bit more like Valentine's day! I love the heart shaped tea cup.

This teapot my daughter gave me for my birthday. It has Psalm 90:17 written around the top.

Would you like some water or soda???? Perhaps, a little bit of wine?
We just bought these at Marshals.
They are called "Cristalleria Fratelli Fumo".
The hurricane candles are Princess House.

This wonderful plate was given to me by my brother, John, when he was selling Avon. He was young man trying to earn extra money, what can I say! He is married to a fabulous woman, Ida, and has three children, John, Victoria and Michael.
It says "Baked With Love 1982" on the back. I have treasured it all these years.

The sugar and creamer where given to me by my husband. The little pink plate is Living Sage by Jodi Riveria, Inc. It is a great appetizer plate in the summer.

This heart shaped cup I bought in a Hallmark store years ago. The white pleated plate is called "Ridges" by Living Quarters. I used a cake plate as a charger, I bought at Goodwill.

This is the second placesetting. Did I mention I bought the placemats at the Dollar Store for my July 7, 2010 post.  I put a lace placemat over the top of it. I love lace!

The plate underneath the cup & saucer is a cake plate. My Buffalo neighbor, Shelley, gave it to me. She bought it at Value City when she went shopping in Pa.

The next plate is a crystal cakeplate, I bought it at Goodwill. Can you see the little balls around the edge? I have used this plate before.

I started to collect cups & saucers when I was sixteen. My Aunt Catherine always served coffee out of teacups and I loved them. I just unpacked this one! It is made by Queen's China. The pattern is English Charm. I love roses so you will see alot of them.

Our water glass has a delicate trim of gold and rose.

Hopefully, the next time you come it will be a bit warmer and we can go sit by the pool!

I am so happy we had this time together.....

It seems that I have done most of the chatting....

Now, its your turn.....please leave me a message. I miss hearing from you.

Thank You to Susan at BNOTP for hosting this wonderful event.

May God be with you.

Blessings My Friends,

  4. Elaine -- it looks like you're getting settled in to your new home -- how delightful it would be to sit at your pretty table for refreshment and conversation. All these sweet and sentimental articles make a delightful tea setting.

  5. I love the mix and match! Nothing matches, but it all matches! I think I will take the seat facing the pool-it's -15 degrees here and Colorado and I could use a little bit of poolside warmth. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Elaine, what a great idea, to layer the lacey placemats over the polka-dot ones! It really adds a valentine-y feel! I adore that heart-shaped teacup -- and it's PLAID, too! I know you had fun setting this table for your Tablescape Thursday friends!

  14. Elaine, I loved sharing tea with you. By the way, I choose the place setting with the clear glass charger. It was a joy to see your tablescape on this cold and blustery day here in Louisiana...warmed my spirit for sure.
Am looking forward to sharing around the pool as well!
