Oh dear! What did I do???????

I went to Walmart to pick up a few grocery items and do you know what I came home with??????
Take a look at my tablescape and see if you can tell.........

We are in my kitchen. It has been quite breezy here today. I am enjoying the New York like weather! lol Can you tell I miss New York?

A fall charger......

Bella Lux "Alexandra Gold", I bought them in Marshall's. I love how the light dances off the gold and sparkles!

I bought the pumpkin dessert plates in Walmart in Buffalo. I used them for our LifeLinks church group.

I love this view.....

I really liked this centerpiece.....I shaped a swag into an "S" shape and put the candlesticks in between.
The candlesticks were a housewarming gift from my dear friend in Buffalo, Carol.

Salt and Pepper shakers and a gold votive.
The votives are from the Christmas Tree Shoppe in Buffalo, NY. I do miss that store!

Ok, I am not going to keep you in suspense.....I went crazy, I couldn't help it! I haven't bought anything for my tablescapes in such a long time! I couldn't resist! My husband doesn't even know......

I bought the six placemats, six chargers, the white pumpkins and the salt and pepper shakers. WOW! When I said it outloud, it didn't sound like very much!!!!! Oh I forgot, the napkins! lol
I really love everything I bought! I am thrilled but always feel a little guilty I spent so much. I am so use to bargain hunting.
Does anyone else feel like me? I try to be practical, but sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do!
I did!!!!!

  1. It looks like fall has come to your house...I love those chargers. I may have to see if our WalMart has them. I know what you mean...I hate paying retail prices when I can find just about anything I want at the second hand stores...I may have to wait a little longer before it shows up, but it does eventually. Howard just rolls his eyes and chuckles about how cheap I have become!

  2. Your fall setting is so beautiful. It is sometimes hard to go to the store and just buy what you intended to do,especailly around this time of the year.

  4. What did you do? You found things you love and you bought them! I love all your purchases. It takes work to find treasures in thrift shops. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself. Your table looks great!

  7. Back at the turn of the century, women would have "buy a new hat" days. I always say that it's cheaper that seeing a therapist. LOL. Your fall tablescape is delightful. Thank you for inviting us in for a peak at your charming design. Cherry Kay
