Let's Talk a little Shop

I have been so busy at Sweetladyelaine's Consignment Shop that I decided to set a table here. I don't have any silverware but I have dishes!

Bare with me because I have only been open a few short weeks and my table does look a little empty.

The dishes are Home Beautiful. I have an eight piece placesetting.

A pink champagne glass and a silver beverage glass.

The teapot is a Homer Laughlin.....

I was setting the table and someone bought the centerpiece! Misksa vase and votives.

So like any good hostess, I found another one.

Little votives go along way! I love these!

I love pink so I have to get it in the picture! The tablecloth is sage green with dotted lace over the top.

A side view

A different centerpiece......

I am so happy I have joined Susan at Between Naps on the Porch.
Thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment. I miss you!

Blessings My Friend,

  3. Hello there, dear Elaine! I am SO happy for you and your fun new shop! I have never really understood the concept behind consignment shops, but I'm starting to catch on. I never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer! :-) You have some really neat stuff there....I'm not surprised the centerpiece got snatched up before you could finish your table! I'm sure it's fun to play in the dishes and things at your shop! That used to be the most fun for me!!! I didn't want to do paperwork or any of that other boring stuff....I just wanted to play! Best wishes to you as your shop continues to grow, and have a great weekend!!!

  5. Elaine, looks like you are enjoying your new shop! I predict anything you put on that table will sell like hotcakes. Tablescapes make shoppers want to recreate the look at home! I like the spring floral centerpiece with that dish pattern.
