There is a lot to do. Plus I got sick for a week and now I am having back spasms that started yesterday. I just can't seem to catch a break!
But in the midst of chaos I praise God for His faithfulness!!!!
I have some God moments to share with you in a later post.
In between unpacking I had to put up Christmas lights.......
This is a new look for our tree this year! The picture doesn't do it justice. The mesh is white and gold. My daughter thought the top of the tree was a birds nest. lol It sort of looks that way but it is made of gold picks from Hobby Lobby.
Our front stairway.....
I have to admit it is all a bit overwhelming. I haven't baked a thing and I guess I will the last minute. I was hoping to set a table for Thursday but I am in no condition to even write this.
Just wanted to check in and let you all know I am alive and well.
Blessings My Friend,
Welcome back, Elaine...moving is hard work, but I know you will get everything unpacked and in it's special place before long. Beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Merry Christmas.
Elaine, your house is gorgeous. Your kitchen looks wonderful, even with unpacked boxes. That staircase is gorgeous, and you have it beautifully decorated. Moving is so stressful, but with the holidays, it makes it harder. Try to just enjoy your new home and not get too stressed. Have a merry Christmas and a wonderful 2014 in your new home. laurie
ReplyDeleteHi there!!!!! So glad to see that you are getting settled into your beautiful new home! Wow...it's beautiful!!! Brick!!! I LOVE it!!! Those windows are a knockout, and I love the front porch. I know you are going to have a decorating heyday once you get all settled!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you've not been 100% in the health department. Back spasms really suck. They just jack up your whole day!
Have fun playing in your new house!!! I don't know that I would ever be able to sleep! It's such a dreamy house, and you have so much fun ahead of you!!! I know that the organizing and unpacking isn't the most fun thing in the world, but the best is yet to come! Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!!!!!!! And congratulations on the fabulous new digs!!!
