I did the happy dance today setting my spring table. I had such a good time for the last few days getting it ready. The weather is somewhat cooperating here in Spring, Texas.
This crazy Northerner is dressed in shorts and a tee shirt.
Of course, people think I'm nuts! If they only knew!!! LOL
My inspiration to my happy table are my placemats and napkins.
I just bought them at a secondhand store called "Something Special" here in Texas.
Proceeds go to a battered women's shelter.
You know I love blue....I set each place setting with different white plates, salad plates and napkins. For some reason I didn't think to use chargers.
My glass blue ones would have been pretty!
I used my glasses from Tuesday Morning.
Several bloggers own these in colors. I wish I had bought the green ones.
Not exactly side views......but here they are!
And what spring table wouldn't have bunnies and birdies!
They came out to play too!
My bluebird of happiness came out of the china closet for an appearance too.
My daughter gave him to me years ago.
Nothing says Spring like a Faberge egg filled with tiny daffodils.
More birdies with roses.....
Pretty gold votives grace my table for a romantic touch.
And last but not least my center piece....... with what else more birdies!
I'll leave you with one more picture of the whole table.
Thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate your visit.

As you can see I am trying to join more parties......I'm not sure how to link up but I am trying!
I will be joining

Blessings My Friend,
What a happy and bright table!! Spring is springing finally around here too [Alabama] and I feel so badly for those still dealing with snow! Love your spring florals, both real and faux, and on your plates!

Love your centerpiece and the egg with daffodils! So sweet! Love the flatware as well, it looks like Wallace Duchess (which I have and adore). Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour wonderful tables cape makes me want to get my Spring flowers planted. I think that we're all so ready! I love your design with the mix of plates. I often don't use chargers when I use placemats either. Somehow, the placemat seems to take the place of the charger. Thanks for inviting us for a peek, and Happy St. Pat's Day. Cherry Kay

For us in the Houston area, there are signs of spring everywhere so you must be a happy gal. Your table sings of the coming season.
ReplyDeleteI love the last photo...beautiful table.
ReplyDeleteFrom my desk looking out I see some tulips coming up in the neighbors yard...that has to be a sure sign of spring!
Have a great week, Elaine.
