My First.....NOT my last!

Good Morning!
Yes, I am writing this at 8:00 this morning. I am so busy at the shop that I forget to take a breather. My poor site has been forgotten, I'm afraid. Actually I have had to let go of many things since I have opened June 2nd!

I am excited to show you this tablescape today! I had a different tablesetting already to go when this wonderful couple brought me these black dishes by Sanyo called Tuxedo. I fell instantly in love. I have never set a table with black dishes before!
This is in Sweetladyelaine's Consignment Shop at an IKEA table and chairs. Remember I am using only items in my shop which is sometimes challenging but who doesn't like a challenge.

I really enjoyed setting this table....I forgot how much fun it is for me! I would like to thank my faithful followers for visiting me even when I haven't posted!

Thank you to Susan from Between  Naps on the Porch for hosting Tablescaping Thursday.

Blessings My Friend,

  1. WOW!!! You did a wonderful job!!! Love how the fabric pulls in the black and white of the dishes. This may have been challenging, but the result is spectacular!!!

  2. Wow, that's quite a challenge, being limited to what's in the shop! Great job! Black dishes make a stunning table. Love the runner. The napkins would be great for a nautical table, too. I predict everything will quickly fly out the door due to your creative marketing/display skills.

  4. Hello Sweetie,
That's amazing setting. I can see that chair that fit to your runner. That's really a favorite, although, I can't see the whole thing.

No worries, of not posting. Sometimes, we have to priorities. You and me have job to do, so, we put our blogging when we have time and it is OK. Just relax.

Unfortunately, I can't link to Susan's meme today...

    Happy TS,

  6. A challenge is correct! pulling together the stuff from several different households to form a coherent look is quite a feat. you did a splendid job. Good luck with the shop and don't beat yourself up about not writing--i've gone months without a blog post. life happens.
