I had so much fun doing this post...
We will spend Valentine's Day dinner in our dining room.
You can still see boxes.......
I have two different place settings.
This one has the round bowl......
I used a pleated white plate and a red charger. The gold & white plates & bowls are from Marshal's. I wrapped a "Dove" rose in the gold napkin and tied it with a ribbon.
This one has the heart bowl......
I bought the heart bowls at Michael's for $0.49 each!
I bought eight.
I used different candlesticks and grouped them together.
Gold sheer material is draped down the center for texture. The gold tablecloth & napkins were given to me by my friend Shelley.
I put pink roses in square candle holders to complete the centerpiece.
A little crown I bought at Michael's filled with candy kisses.
A picture of the centerpiece.
This is my buffet set for coffee.
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day...
go and do something special for yourself!
Thank you to Susan at BNOTP for hosting Tablescape Thursday this week. Please visit as many tablescapes as you can and leave a message.
Blessings My Friend,
Matthew 22:37–39
Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Hey cookie-bell...this is precious. Hoping you are well & happy. Happy Valentine's Day, Elaine...
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the way you've used the sheer fabric. I think your photos look great! Nice candlelit shots (and those can be VERY tricky!).
ReplyDeleteHave a very happy Valentine's Day!
Warmest regards,
Bill
Your Valentine table is lovely. I particularly like the way you used different candlesticks grouped together to form a unity for the focal point. Your table is very inviting and I wish you a Happy Valentine day.
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine,
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I have boxes in the garage and we have been here 10 years!
Love the table, and glad you had fun, it is good therapy I think!
I have to look for those crowns. Perfect for my 3 little gsons. Gdau already thinks she is a princess, LOL!
Happy ♥day!
How pretty! Those dishes are so pretty in the candle glow! Love the little crown.
ReplyDeleteHi, Elaine!!! I hope you're staying warm and cozy! Two months from now we'll all be chatting about all the rain we're getting! For now, though, looks like you're really warming things up with your pretty tablescape. I LOVE those candlesticks!!! I only have a few crystal candlesticks (I stupidly sold the others when I closed my shop!), but I love the look! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier today, and I hope you enjoy a wonderful Valentine's Weekend! Bye for now!
ReplyDeleteI'm really busy at work!!! But, really wanted to stop by at least one of my favourite bloggers xx.
