I have a ton of frames that are that 1980s Baroque gold design that I would just love to turn into something different and current. I think a coat of black paint would do the trick! The button idea is really cute, too. I think I have a TON of buttons from clothes over the past 20 years or so that I have kept in a box "just in case." I need to skim through that box someday! I am being forced into getting ready for Halloween. I have to do a couple of tables for my tablescaping class so that my students will be armed and ready for their upcoming parties. Halloween is not a favorite of mine, but I'll just suffer through it. I have one table just about complete, and the other will have to wait until tomorrow. I have until Tuesday evening to get it together around here. I'm draggin' my feet! Have a great weekend!Alycia Nicholshttp://tabletwentyone.wordpress.com/2012/09/19/american-royal-tablescape/noreply@blogger.com
